About May Tee
Dr. Tee is a board-certified surgeon with specific expertise in hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and upper gastrointestinal surgical oncology. She is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Howard University and Program Director of the General Surgery Residency training program at Howard University Hospital. She attended Harvard University for graduate school.
She has performed hundreds of complex general surgical, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and gastrointestinal operations, often via a minimally invasive robotic / laparoscopic approach, with excellent clinical and oncologic outcomes. She co-authored numerous peer-reviewed book chapters, invited reviews, and original research articles published in high-impact medical journals. Her advanced surgical procedures, which utilize cutting edge technologies, are featured in both the American College of Surgeons and Society of Surgical Oncology operative video libraries.
