The Department of Medicine includes more than 75 faculty physicians and nurse practitioners, 100 postgraduate trainees, and research and administrative staff members committed to excellence in patient-centered medical care, medical education, research, scholarship, and service.  The department is organized into 11 major clinical divisions and 8 clinical centers, and offers 7 graduate medical education programs.
