Howard University Hospital Coronavirus Vaccine Information and Updates

Howard University Hospital and the Howard University Faculty Practice Plan are working in conjunction with the District of Columbia Department of Health (DC Health) and District of Columbia Hospital Association (DCHA) to safely implement an equitable strategic COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan in accordance with the city’s COVID-19 vaccine guidelines.

Howard Expands its Vaccine Program to ages 12 years old & Above
We are pleased to announce on Monday, May 17, Howard University will expand its vaccination program to include those who are 12 years and above. We will use the portal (see link below) to schedule pediatric and teen patients (12 to 15 years) from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pediatric patients will be scheduled from Monday to Friday. Please note: We will require parent/guardian consent for those 12 to 17 years of age.

The vaccine program for the pediatric population will be coordinated with our department of Pediatrics. Beginning on May 24, we will be open for walk-ins appointments daily, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We will be administering Pfizer vaccines to all participants from our current site at: 508 W street NW, Washington DC 20059; The Numa P Adams Building Lobby.
