Stop the Spread of Germs

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has issued the following preventions tip for COVID 19:

  • Wash your hands thoroughly with hot water as often as possible for at least 20 seconds.
  • Stay at home if you are sick or have flu-like symptoms.
  • Cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze. 
  • Avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth 
  • Avoid contact with people who are sick.
  • Restrict activities where you share items (food, drinks, etc.) with others.
  • Practice social distancing by avoiding mass gatherings and maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet) from others when possible.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces with regular household cleaning products.

Clean Hands keep you Healthy

The CDC has issued the following hand-washing recommendations to help prevent COVID-19. Hand-washing is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and your family from getting sick. It involves some simple and easy steps you can take to combat illness and the spread of germs. The CDC recommends that you wet your hands with clean, running water (warm). Turn off the tap, and then apply an ample amount of soap. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds at each wash. Thoroughly rinse your hands and dry. Follow these regular hand-washing steps multiple times per day. It’s quick and easy and it’s simple.
