The Department of
Dermatology offers comprehensive services in
treating diseases of skin, hair and nails. It
specializes in dermatological diseases of African
Americans and other ethnic groups with dark skin.
Specialties include pigmentary disorders such as
vitiligo, melasma and disorders of hair in women.
Treatments available
include UVA and UVB phototherapy and laser hair removal.
Cosmetic treatments such as chemical peels, tissue
fillers and Botox(TM) are available.
